44 years of quality and innovation in our German office

On 01st of February 1977, Heinz Pollmeier and Josef Wältmann founded Pollmeier GmbH in Lindlar. Heinz Pollmeier and Wolfgang Waldheim were entrusted with the management. In December 1977, Wolfgang Waldheim took over the company shares from Josef Wältmann.

 In order to appear under a unified name in the worldwide marketing of PPI quality products, Pollmeier GmbH was renamed PPI Adhesive Products GmbH in December 1988.

The main object of the company is up to this day the distribution of the entire product range of the PPI Group, Waterford / Rep. Ireland (PPI Adhesive Products Ltd., Technical Adhesive Products Ltd., and Valentia Industries Ltd.). The sales program includes all types of self-adhesive tapes, especially for industrial and electrotechnical applications, precisely fitting and precise die-cut parts based on plastic insulation films (polyester, polypropylene, polyimide, etc.) and metal foils (aluminum and copper). On request, self-adhesive on one and both sides.

In 2011, the founder of the PPI Group, Heinz Pollmeier, died at the age of 82. His wife Ranka Pollmeier was appointed to the management in his place.

Since after 43 years of uninterrupted management, Wolfgang Waldheim retired on 31. March 2020 for reasons of age, Kurt Heinz Depner was hired as an additional managing director on 01. November 2019.
 
With the fresh wind of the new management, PPI Adhesive Products GmbH closed the doors of the old office in Stolzenbach behind them in March 2020 and moved into the new premises in Lindlar Hommerich.
