PPI Adhesive Products Ltd manufactures advanced tapes with a Glass fabric construction. Glass cloths are the most flexible and conformable backings used for adhesive tapes. Due to the glass fibres in the cloth, it is non-flammable and high temperature resistant. Glass cloths can be used at a constant temperature of 180°C (356°F) and offer excellent abrasion and mechanical resistance.

Glass fabric-based tapes can be used for a wide range of applications:

• Inter phase insulation, holding & general insulation of coils and transformers
• Wrapping at high temperatures
• Heavy coil banding, slot edge reinforcement, and inter-phase insulation
